Dr. Carlos Piñeiro is a Veterinarian, with a PhD from the University of Meiji-Tokyo and Diplomate from the European College of Swine Veterinarians.

He has been the director of PigCHAMP Pro Europe since its creation in 2000, and is the main person in charge of developing the strategy for the implementation of information management systems in livestock and related services, as well as applied research services.

In addition, it promotes the internationalization of the company and its positioning, being a relevant actor among the Academy, the Administration and the rest of the companies in the sector.

He has published more than 35 scientific research articles and has an h-index of 12.
