Dr. Juan Sotillo Mesanza has a degree and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Murcia.

The main research activity, during 30 years of experience, has focused on three main fields, metabolism and nutrition in ruminants, optimization of assays for protein quantification and the identification of new biomarkers of animal health and welfare.

He has published 10 books and more than 43 articles in magazines, several of them of high international prestige.

It has also participated in 8 teaching innovation projects and 2 R+D+i contracts.
